Sulivan’s results are quite simply outstanding, positioning the school firmly in the top 2% in the country. Sulivan’s Key Stage 2 “value added” results have been rated 233rd in England and Wales out of more than 15,000 schools. Last Friday the 2013 SATs tables were published for England and Wales. The key Ofsted test for a good school these days is the measurement of ‘pupil progress’. It is important that schools are achieving well but it is more important to see how far their children have progressed academically.
The Value Added score on the SATs tables shows the distance that the school has brought children on from their initial assessment on entry to Y6.
