Healthy bodies, healthy minds

 

We are making sure we keep active and healthy at school. Children benefit from two hours of PE each week with lots of additional active outdoor learning too. We also have daily meditation and mindfulness in classes to support our wellbeing and mental health.

Our sports’ coach, Miss Stringer, has been teaching gymnastics skills this term alongside weekly team sports and multi-skills. In gymnastics the children have been learning new balance, control and movement skills. Learning is progressed through the school so that we develop skills for each age group.
