Drama Workshop for Year 5 and 6
Our Year 6 children graduate from University!
Our Year 6 class have been lucky enough to take part in a ‘Into University’ project. It was a chance for children to explore different courses they could take at University, and was a chance for them to think about what they might like to be when they’re older. Melis from the Oak class said “I chose to graduate as an English Teacher!”. The week of excursions concluded with a visit to Roehampton University.
School Council Networking Trip
On Thursday 13th October our school council visited Fulham Primary School for a networking meeting. Our children had the chance to meet the school councilors from the other schools that make up the Brightwells Academy Trust. Our children were given a tour of the school and able to ask questions to the other children about their schools. We look forward to visiting Queens Manor Primary School later in the year. Thank you to Fulham Primary School for hosting the first networking meeting!
Harvest Celebrations 2016
On Friday 7th September we held a special Harvest assembly which included singing, readings and instrument performances. This year we have been collecting donations for the local food bank. Thank you to our school council who have helped remind classmates to bring in donations and to our house captains who helped deliver our food to the Food Bank this week.
