During this term’s Creativity Week the children were challenged to create, innovate and “think outside of the box” with the word, Green, to inspire their work. The range of outstanding work was displayed in a Green Exhibition in the Main Hall and parents and visitors enjoyed viewing all the work from the Nursery class to Year 6.
Year 6 Ambassadors were available to give tours of the exhibition and invite visitors to relax in the Green Zone where they could wear green glasses and write in the green book. Activities ranged from recylcled fashion in Year 3/4, film making, environmental projects presented by Year 5 and 6, philosophy lessons in Year 2 and exploring nature in our garden for art, english and problem solving the Foundation Stage and Year 1. The children enjoyed their creative freedom and the teachers were delighted to see so many innovative and original ideas
